# Platebook > Nobody should have to work this hard to eat. Platebook is a meal planning platform for people whose dietary needs go beyond what mainstream tools support. It is built by FoodYouMe, LLC. ## What Platebook Does Most meal planners start with thousands of recipes and filter down. Platebook inverts this: it starts with what you know works — your safe foods — and builds outward from there. The platform handles medical diets, overlapping restrictions, conditions that change what's safe, and performance nutrition, all together. ## Who It's For Platebook is for people who can't just open the fridge and pick. Every meal is a decision. - People on medical or specialized diets (renal, low-FODMAP, gastroparesis-friendly, PKU, ketogenic for epilepsy, or protocols most tools have never heard of) - People with conditions that change what's safe to eat (Crohn's, MCAS, POTS, celiac, EoE, Hashimoto's, or autoimmune flares that shift tolerances week to week) - Anyone with stacked restrictions where the intersection of rules matters (e.g., PCOS with low-FODMAP, kidney disease with diabetes, elimination diet plus low-histamine) - People still figuring it out — new diagnosis, elimination phase, waiting on test results ## What Makes This Different - **Multiple needs, handled together**: One condition from a dropdown isn't enough. Platebook handles all of them, together. - **A plan that moves with your body**: Elimination phases, flare-ups, new diagnoses — your plan updates when your body does. No starting from scratch. - **Starts with what you know works**: Instead of filtering 10,000 recipes down to the ones that don't work for you, Platebook starts with your safe foods and builds out from there. - **Safe means something specific**: Raw apples but not cooked. Fresh chicken but never reheated. Half a cup of yogurt but not a full one. Platebook understands that safety depends on how food is prepared, how much, and when. ## Current Status Platebook is in pre-launch. The site currently offers: - A waitlist to get early access - A survey for sharing meal planning needs and feedback ## Pages - Home: https://platebook.co/ - Privacy Policy: https://platebook.co/privacy - Terms & Conditions: https://platebook.co/terms ## Contact - Email: hello@platebook.co - Website: https://platebook.co
